P.B.L

Hi, it is now term two and our new driving question for P.B.L is how can we speak up against discrimination ( racism,sexism,ableism and ageism). We also have 6 Sub questions. 

what are human rights?
 what are the different types of discrimination?
 what is discrimination?
what does an up stander do?
 what are stereotypes and bias?

 We had a group chat about what we thought about discrimination.  All of my hub knew about sexism and racism and most of us thought that is was sad that people were being bullied for something they couldn't change.  After we had discussed sexism and racism the teachers told us about some other things that people get discriminated against (ableism and ageism).  At the end of the talk I felt sad for the people that have to go through all this, lucky because I did not experience any of this but also confused because we are all human and no one wants or deserves to be discriminated against.                                                                                                                     

Toothless

Hi, today I am going to be telling you about the art we did on Thursday. There where four different types of art that we did and all of them where fun.  The four different types of art that we did where Cartoon art, Manger art, Bunny cards and digital art.  We where going round the different types of art in our home base groups. My for manger art I chose to draw a baby in a pander outfit.  For Bunny art we all had a bunny template that was split into different sections and in each section we had to do a patten.  For Cartoon art I chose to draw Toothless he was hard to draw but I did alright.  The digital art was the hardest because I chose to draw Toothless face and I strugled to get it even.  That is what art we did.  What kind of art would you like to do?

Hi, my name is Isabella and today I am going to be talking to you about the school values.  The school values are impotent to the school because thay advertise what the school is all about but not only that the give the students like me that go the the school something to strive for.  The school values are Respect, Compassion, Integrity and Service.  The school also has a vison a goal that thay strive to have.  The vison is to be an innovative Catholic learning community that inspires and empowers others to succeed .

Hi, this week we have been creating digital games, videos, slides or site's.  We have been working in group's of 3, pairs or by ourselves. I am working in a group of 3 with two of my friend's, Makayla and Hannah.  We have made invitations to our Digi Awards here is mine.

Hi welcome back to my blog , on Friday we made kindness T-shirts because our goal for this term is  to choose kindness.  We got into Buddy's from our house colour and helped each other make the T-shirts,   I thought it was fun because you got to be creative.

maths

Hi, this week for problem solving we were doing anagrams,square angles, connect the dots 12-15 balloon bursting and 7 up. My favorite was 7 up because it was hard without being to hard.  My least favorite was the anagrams because, half of the anagrams I had no idea what thay were until looked at them for at least 10 seconds. The rest of the tasks were fun like balloon bursting and square angels  but I still liked 7 up is the best.

clear water

Hi, today was the day we got to do boat safety as part of swimming week. I enjoyed it even thought we have done the same thing for the last two years. The best part in my opinion was going under the boat because I did not enjoy jumping of the boat into the cold water or making the huddle.  The rest of the lesson was fun but it was not exciting or different.  Would you like doing water safety?
